Pearls and pigs…

Listen. One of the worst things you could do for yourself is to stay in a situation where you’re not appreciated. The Bible tells us, “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.” – Matthew 7:6

You know what this means? Do not waste good things on people who will not appreciate them! Period! Take your great qualities elsewhere. Just because certain people don’t see the value in you, doesn’t mean you’re worthless… It just means they don’t share a future with you. You gotta be cool with knowing that you’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but you are somebody’s cup of coffee! 😉 So, take your gifts and talents, and everything you bring to the table elsewhere and watch God prepare a table before you in your enemies presence. (See Psalm 23:5) Don’t try to prove your worth to people who belittle you, or don’t see the value in you! That’s a waste of time when God has placed people on your path who needs everything you have to offer. The only affirmation, confirmation or validation you truly need is God’s! His Spirit will do the drawing!
