Morning thoughts with Bricca… Be easy when dealing with someone who has fallen.

When your brother or sister in Christ has fallen, be careful not to condemn them, or look down on them as if you are better than them. The Bible tells us that, all of our righteous acts is like filthy rags! Heavy on the “acts,” because oftentimes we get caught up in self, and certain things we do that supposed to glorify God, becomes self righteous acts!

Be careful what you speak with your mouth. Words have the power to lift someone’s spirit, or crush them.

Just because you sin differently than them, doesn’t make you better than them.

Just because they have sex out of wedlock, and you SECRETLY lust in your bedroom, doesn’t make you better than them!

Just because they gossip openly, and you secretly go behind their back and tell the pastor, deacons, and the praise team, everyone’s business, doesn’t make you better than them.

Just because they sell dope and live in the projects, and you sell pharmaceuticals- drugs, and live in a mansion, doesn’t make you better than them.

You must be careful what you say to people when they are down, has strayed away, or battling something that you either don’t understand, or that you once battled yourself!

Remember where you come from. God delivered you and set you free from sin, that doesn’t make you free OF sin… there’s a difference…

Be humble… those people you judge today, could be you tomorrow.

So, be easy…

Matthew 7:1-2
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
