I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to check on your strong friends! The friend(s) who’s always the life of the party. The friends who always know what to say to make you feel better. The friend who lights up a room. The friend who everyone confides in. The friend who never seems to have a bad day. The friend who you consider strong…
You never know what’s going on between the ears of a person. You never know the demons they’re silently battling, the traumas, the skeletons in their closet, all the terrible things that haunt them daily…
Just because they smile often, does not mean that they’re okay.
Take time to check on your strong friend. Ask them how are they doing? Pray for them. Send them a word of encouragement just because. Let them know that they are loved, important, purposed, forgiven, and needed here.
Trust me… your strong friend is not stronger than you, they just know how to hide it better than you…
Check on your friends and family folks.
Sending prayers and love to anyone who’s dealing with depression, oppression, anxiety, and who are just overwhelmed and weary from the cares of this world.
Don’t give up. I know it’s hard, but the only way out is through. Stay out of your head. Talk to God, talk to someone you trust, talk to a therapist.
You are more than a conqueror! You will conquer whatever it is you’re going through.
Give it to God, and leave it alone.
