Afternoon prayer for those who feel hopeless. Proverbs 3:6, “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

Being saved doesn’t mean we’re numb to the challenges we face in the world. We are all human and when times are rough, it’s a reminder to go deeper in our faith in God. If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or frustration, don’t lose hope; say this prayer.

God, I’m stressed out. I know that you are with me and you are taking care of me, but I am feeling anxious. I can’t see the bigger picture right now because of all the little things that are piling up. I need for you to make my vision clear despite the obstacles I am facing. I need you to give me peace of mind and spirit in Jesus name.

Remove the spirit of depression; I put my trust in you, and you alone God. I have been trying to accomplish certain things, but I don’t see any progress. I know that you have good things planned for my life, but sometimes I question whether I am doing enough. Order my steps Lord. Open doors that I’m unable to open on my own.

Give me the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding needed to accomplish my goals and fulfill your will for my life. If my goals and your will does not align, help me to get in line with the things you have destined me for.

I know that there’s greatness inside of me, and I am certain that my current location in life is not my permanent destination.

It’s time for a change God; I have the faith, I just need your direction.

Thank you for lifting me up out of this slump and giving me new hope. Thank you for renewing my strength to keep going and to keep fighting the good fight of faith. I thank you for your Holy Spirit, your protection, your love, mercy and favor over my life.

I am putting all of my worries in your hands and trusting that I am on the path that you’ve set for my life.

In Jesus name. Amen.
