It’s mental health awareness month. A reminder that you don’t have to carry your burdens alone.

You never know what people are battling. There are so many people who carry a light on the outside, but is also carrying something dark on the inside. If you are holding on to something that you can’t control, please give it to God. We weren’t meant to carry every burden alone. Jesus is our help.

Don’t hold things inside because you feel like no one cares, God does. Cry out to Him. Talk to Him and be 100% truthful about what you’re thinking. You can also talk to a counselor or trusted friend.

Sometimes it’s hard to reach out to other people when you’re having problems, because you don’t want to be a bother and we’re all going through something, but reach out anyway! There are people who love you and people who will help you, but most importantly, God loves you and wants to carry those burdens for you. All you have to do is give it to Him.
