Stop worrying. Seems like when things are bad, we worry about when things will become good, and when they are good we worry about how long the good will last. Can we ever just enjoy the moment? Whether we’re going through or coming out, many of us are anxious anyway, and God doesn’t want us to live anxiously, He wants us to be at peace in any situation. You know what anxiety is? It’s a side effect of fear and doubt. I call those two ungodly spirits “the twins” because those two forces roll together. If doubt is around, fear is nearby, and vice versa. So, the important thing to remember when times are good or bad, is that God is with us, and His Word is true, no matter what situations we face. God is not someone who switches up on us according to what’s going on in our lives. Things change, people change. God does not! Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.“ In Malachi 3:6, God said, “I am the Lord, I change not.” These are things we need to remember, before we fear our uncertainties. We must stop doubting God, and believe that He is with us in every situation; especially the ones we do not understand, because those are the most crucial, there’s a bigger purpose behind it. Give yourself a break, and what I mean by that, is take a breather and rest your mind, heart and soul in the care of the Lord. When you feel yourself becoming anxious make this affirmation, “God is with me, He will help me, I am not alone!” This affirmation is backed by scripture! I talk about the importance of speaking scriptural affirmations everyday. Positive affirmations should be a daily part of our lives, or several times a day if you’re someone who’s constantly battling that demon. Don’t feel down about it, keep fighting it with the Word of God, and you will defeat it! The way to overcome anxiety or anything that’s not of God, is to not give in. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.“ Remember, whether you’re doing good or bad, the SAME GOD is always with you! Ecclesiastes 7:14, “When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future.” For more inspiration, listen to this. https://anchor.fm/shubricca-bell/episodes/Transforming-your-mindset–A-positive-shift-from-negative-thinking-eb7k9r
