We as the people of God, are His messengers. Sometimes, the message is easy to deliver and sometimes the message is difficult. Sometimes God gives us a message on the spot, and sometimes He gives us a message in advance. Sometimes He will send people we know to deliver a message to us, and sometimes He uses strangers. He can use anything or anyone to get us, what we need.
Some people hate to see the mailman coming, because that means another bill or more junk mail. Some people love to see the mailman coming because they’re expecting a check or something good! Whether a person perceives the mailman as a sign of something good or bad, that’s their perception and not the truth concerning the mailman. The mailman isn’t responsible for what the mail says, he’s only responsible for delivering the mail to you!
When God gives you a message, deliver it… You didn’t create the message, God did! Don’t worry about if people will receive it or not. All that matters is that you delivered it, so that your conscience will be at peace. Jesus own kinfolk made fun of Him, but that didn’t stop Him from being Jesus! He knew who He was, and that’s the key! Know who you are in Christ. It doesn’t matter who receives or rejects you, as long as you know who you are and what God has anointed you to do. Too often we’d rather deliver feel good messages in order to avoid rejection, but we can’t be fearful or timid when it comes to God. Don’t worry about people who only see the messenger and ignore the message. The Word of God will reach whomever He intended to reach, and it will pass by whoever it was meant to pass by. Isaiah 55:11 says, “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” God’s Word will do the work, all you have to do is trust God enough to speak it. Ephesians 2:10, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
